Arboretum with Nannie

We took advantage of the beautiful weather, and brought Nannie to the Arboretum for a picnic. We walked through the newest section of the gardens, and it's gorgeous!

Christmas Parade

Aunt Dee Dee and I took all 3 boys to the Christmas Parade at the beginning of December.

We had to get there super early in order to get front row seats,

so everyone got a little cranky about 15 minutes before the parade started.

Luckily Calvin & Miles both took a quick nap, and Max snacked with his new friends until it started!

If you placed Calvin & Miles in front of the Christmas tree, they had fun pulling on the lights and branches for brief periods; but for the most part, they didn't care about it. Max, on the other hand, couldn't keep his hands off the ornaments. He thought they were a bunch of new toys for him to play with, and removed everyone within his reach - multiple times!

Ice Palace

Before Christmas, we took the boys to visit the Arctic Ice Palace full of ice sculptures, snow globes, and animals from the Arctic (so the newspaper said!). I was a little disappointed when we walked up and saw it was actually just an elaborately decorated line to see Santa. Max, however, thought the scenery was awesome!

No pictures with Santa this year (or probably ever). Max still isn't sure if he likes him or not, so we just stood in front of him and talked!

Going, going, going...

Calvin had a couple frustrating weeks where he couldn't seem to move in the right direction. He's now figured out how to crawl forward, as well as pull himself up, which has made playtime a much happier and exciting time!
