The original plan for Halloween: Max would be a meerkat (his choice), Calvin would be an astronaut, and Miles would be a scuba diver. However, since I didn't get my act together early enough for our first (and second) Halloween party, the boys got 'temporary' costumes as well!
On Halloween morning, Aunt Mar and I took the kids to the Arboretum for some pictures with the pumpkins. Thankfully we were able to get a couple cute shots, even though things didn't go as smoothly as I thought they would...
Max was beyond thrilled with being a meerkat, but wouldn't smile for the camera,
Calvin would only take a picture if I was holding him,
and Miles ran away as soon as he saw me take his costume out of the stroller.
He screamed bloody murder the entire time it was on!

After working up a sweat in order to get a couple of crying pictures, it was decided that Calvin and Miles would wear their 'temporary' Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes for the trick or treating parade!
