Dinosaurs at the Museum

We took Max to visit the BIG dinosaurs at the museum. He brought in two of his own dinosaurs, and held onto them during the entire exhibit.

He loved roaring back at the dinosaurs, from a safe distance, in the comfort of Daddy's arms. If Douglas got too close, he'd grab onto his neck and squeeze!

After visiting the dinosaurs, we went downstairs to the Children's Museum where Max stayed very busy. He planted some seeds,

squeezed the pigs noses,

rode a horse,
played with the ducks at the water table,
and went down the fireman's slide!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning started off quite adventurous for Max.

First he attempted an escape,

and then we noticed his body was covered in hives!

The poor little man had a reaction to his ear infection antibiotic. Luckily the hives didn't seem to bother him, and after a couple doses of Benadryl they were gone. Allowing him to focus on opening his presents!

I guess we took too long to rake the backyard, so Max decided to help us start.

Christmas Parade

We took Max for his first train/DART ride downtown to watch the Adolphus Christmas Parade. We should have expected it, but it was crazy crowded! So... we found the best spot we could, and gave Max the best possible view.
