Wagon Rides for All

All the boy cousins got wagon rides thanks to Papa...

while baby Elise got lots of snuggles.

Our Backyard...

 We couldn't live without it!

Well... technically we could, but rainy days like today remind everyone how much we LOVE and need it to keep our sanity!

Cool Whip Finger Painting

 In February, I made the mistake of buying 4 BIG tubs of cool whip, which I thought I needed for a recipe. So... Max and I tried to make a dent in it, with some finger painting fun.
While mixing in the food coloring, he got a little cool whip on his fingers. I noticed he was looking for a place to wipe his hand, and told him he could lick it off! Once he realized the cool whip was edible (and super yummy), not a lot of painting took place...

 And because I thought I could multi-task (fold a bit of laundry while he painted), this happened...

Pink 4x4

Our neighbors had this old jeep sitting unused in their yard, so they gave it to Max. I wanted to spray paint it immediately (for obvious reasons), but after removing all the Barbie stickers decided it was okay if Max drove around our backyard in a pink 4x4. He really likes to push the gas pedal and ride around, but doesn't like to steer. So... we have the steering wheel slightly turned at all times - and Max drives in circles!

Occasionally accidents happen - due to the not steering thing!

But, not using the steering wheel gives Calvin and Miles something to hold onto during their rides.

I love the 'protective' hand on Miles' back.

Dishwasher Helpers

Calvin thought he was SO clever climbing onto the dishwasher door,

until...

he realized he couldn't get down!

Climbin' Fools

 Calvin and Miles were climbin' fools at the museum this morning.

They even followed Max to the top of the firetruck!

February's Over????

I can't believe it's the last day of February - the month FLEW by!

Some of the boys favorite things this month were...

Playing outside,

 Cars,

 Crafts and animals,

Books,

Exploring,

Cereal WITH milk,

Bananas,

Sitting at the big table,
(Both hands are always in the 'ready position' - just like in this picture!)

 Stroller rides,
(Except when it's super windy)

 Removing diapers,
(He's not allowed to wear velcro diapers anymore - unless he has pants on too!)

and playing with the big kids in Max's playgroup.

Besides some yucky colds, ear infections, and coughs this month - it's been a good one!
