Max LOVES chewing on my watch. It's one of the only things that will keep him still while I'm changing his diaper, stop him from crying when he falls, and keep his hands from grabbing things he's not supposed to.
I was trying to get him to look at the camera and smile - I called his name and made lots of different noises with my mouth, but none of them were getting his attention - So I decided to bark like a dog. Apparently barking will NOT make Max smile!
Right before bathtime we strip Max down to his diaper, turn on some music, and play for a little while. As soon as he hears the music he gets a smile on his face, crawls over to the radio, and tries to climb on top of it. He's still pretty wobbly when he pulls himself up, so it looks like he's trying to dance!
The weather has been gorgeous the past couple of weeks, and Max and I have been trying to take advantage of it. We've been taking Libby for lots of walks around the neighborhood, going to the park to swing, and playing in the backyard.
I brought a basket of toys outside for Max to play with, but he never touched them - He went straight for the leaves.
Max has figured out how to get his arms and legs to work together, and officially started crawling last night. When I figure out how to download video, I'll post some footage of him on the move; but until then, here are some 'action' shots from this morning!
All done with the water bottle cap - time to get the camera
Max dressed up as a turtle for his 1st Halloween. Douglas actually designed and sewed the costume!! VERY impressive!! It turned out super cute, and looked adorable on our little turtle head.
His shell got in the way of him lifting his head too high! :)
