Meeting Nannie and Papa

Over the weekend we traveled to Waco so that Max could meet his great-grandparents.

Papa was able to capture Max's attention by making funny noises with his lips,

and Nannie got in some good snuggle time!

Libby

When we first brought Max home from the hospital, Libby was really scared of him. She was very curious about what he was up to, but made sure to keep her distance. Now, after getting to know him for a couple of weeks, we think she's beginning to love her new little pal.

One Month Old

WOW! We can't believe our little Max is already 1 month old!

It's been amazing to watch him change so much in such a short period of time. He's staying awake for longer periods of time, and becoming more aware of the sights and sounds that surround him - his eyes are constantly moving around.

He's grown quite a bit since coming home from the hospital, but...

his pacifier is still nearly as big as his face!

He's been spending more time on his tummy time mat.

We think he's very strong!

But, he still spends most of his time sleeping...
in his bouncer,in his swing,

and best of all - on daddy's chest! So cute!
