2 Days of Fun

Cousin Harley came over last week to play with Max.
They were great little playmates -

They shared the exersaucer,

talked,

played with toys,

and walked to the park.

Despite the expressions on their faces, they really were enjoying the swings!

Trash Can Reflection

Max loves standing in front of the big mirror in our bedroom. He giggles at the reflection of Douglas and me, and gives himself wet,sloppy kisses. Last week he found his reflection on the oven door and the trash can in his room.

Sandy Hands

My side of the family took a trip to Port Aransas for the Christmas holiday. While we were there, Douglas and I took Max and Libby for a jog on the beach. It was Libby's first time to play in ocean water and Max's first time to feel sand!

As usual - Libby sprinted and splashed in the water,

then took some time to cool off and catch her breath.

Max crawled and crawled - stopping every once in a while to scrape his fingers in the sand.

When he came across a rock or seashell, he'd pull it out of the sand, take a look at it, drop it back on the ground, and start crawling again.

Surprisingly, this is the only time his hand went into his mouth.

Payne Family Christmas

Max's Christmas celebrations started off with the Payne family. While at times he was a little cranky due to teething pains, overall he seemed to enjoy his 1st Christmas!
