We visited a small petting zoo earlier this week. It was easy to see that Max's favorite animals were the goats, by the amount of 'dolphin laughing' he was doing!

Walking

Max has been walking for about a month now! It's been really hard to get any footage of it, because as soon as he sees the red recording light on the video camera, he wants to grab it. Now that he's becoming a better walker, he doesn't drop to his knees and speed-crawl to the camera as much as he used to. However, there are some frustrated whines towards the end of this video because I'm not stopping to give him the camera... :-)

Birthday Sandbox

For Max's 1st birthday present, we (meaning Douglas) decided to build him a sandbox. It was a much bigger project than we anticipated, but the final product turned out awesome!

While Douglas worked on the sandbox, I put together our new patio chairs, Max played with the boxes...and Libby took a nap...then tested out the new sandbox!

Haircut Night

With Max's big birthday celebration in 2 days, and a hairstyle beginning to resemble a mullet, we decided to take him to Haircut Night to get his first trim!
