It was fun, but now I'm ready for the Spring weather!

Lots of No School = Lots of Experimenting

We knew Max would be home on Friday for a staff development day, but Monday and Tuesday were surprise snow days!! On Friday, I gave each of the boys their own can of shaving cream to make 'marbled' pictures. However, it took a while for the marbling to actually happen...

First, they had to get a little crazy with the shaving cream!

After a nice warm bath, they were finally able to make some marbled pictures.

Cleaning up is always fun when it's outside!

On Tuesday, Max wanted to make some chemical reactions. So... we did 5 quick experiments together, then I let the boys create their own concoctions with the left over materials. Hours of fun!!

the Nasher Museum,

and the SeaLife Aquarium.

We're crossing our fingers that they have the program again this summer! :)
