Frontier Land at the Arboretum

On our visit to the Arboretum last week, we made our usual first stop at the petting zoo.

Max will practically lay on top of the goats and the sheep, but this is as close as he'll get to the chickens!

For our second stop, we walked over to the pumpkin patch,

where Max found a small pumpkin to carry around,

and a big one to kiss!

Our final stop was Frontier Land, where Max 'rode' the stagecoach over and over!

He did manage to find a tree to climb, and some sticks to run around with;

but never strayed too far from the stagecoach!

Maybe next time we'll make it to the teepee or the mud house!
